This post is a few days late because going through a year of life in pictures is overwhelming and I was at a loss for words. This was, without a doubt, the most intense, exciting, demanding, adventurous, and blessed year of my life. It wasn't without its struggles and heartbreak, but I want to focus solely on the good in this post. I travelled to seven countries, photographed weddings in seven different states, took a road trip across country with good friends, had the pleasure of witnessing (and documenting) both an engagement and a birth, captured two of my childhood best friends marrying amazing men, as well as my cousin marrying the woman of his dreams, officially moved myself and my business to Portland, Oregon, and photographed more weddings than I have in previous years. This year was good to me, and looking through the pictures, I was shocked to discover all these memories were created just in 2017. I look forward to a calmer, more rooted 2018, filled with adventures in the Pacific Northwest and a few trips back south (plus a little wedding travel here and there)! Thank you, everyone, that has both hired me or just encouraged me. It is because of you that I get to live the life of my dreams.
